Combined with a Nurturing Home Environment
Tree Roots Montessori is an in-home
preschool offering children ages
two to six a traditional Montessori education. Run by Hulya Hisim,
an AMI-certified instructor with more than ten years’
classroom experience as a lead Montessori teacher, Tree Roots combines
Montessori curriculum with a personal and nurturing in-home
childcare environment. Tree Roots has complete Montessori
curricular materials and provides students with exceptional
individualized instruction and
attention. For many
families, Tree Roots
is the child’s first experience with care outside of
home. Tree Roots provides an ideal transitional environment between
family care and a larger school environment.
Preparing Children to Care for Themselves, Their Environment, and Their
Tree Root strives to help children ultimately
become peaceful, functioning members of their community—to
nurture their roots as they grow into kind and competent individuals.
In the tradition of Montessori education, Tree Roots considers the big
picture, emphasizing the importance of not only math, language, social
studies, and science, but practical life knowledge and the
child’s place in society and the environment.
